CVS (Community and Voluntary Services) South Gloucestershire believe that every voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) should be valued, understood and well-managed - building stronger communities and positively impacting people’s lives.

CVS South Gloucestershire aims to further develop the VCSE sector in South Gloucestershire. They’re exploring additional funding opportunities to expand their reach. The organisation is seeking a CEO to lead them through this exciting period of growth.
The Chief Executive will provide decisive leadership for the VCSE sector in South Gloucestershire. Working alongside the Board of Trustees to evolve the business plan through ambitious yet achievable strategic objectives. The successful candidate will inspire CVS staff to work diligently towards the Charity’s mission and develop new income generation strategies. Furthermore, they will work in tandem with various partnerships and authorities in the VCSE sector to facilitate greater engagement in South Gloucestershire.
We are looking to hear from candidates with strong operational and financial management skills and a background delivering successful income generation projects. Excellent communication skills and the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships. You will have senior leadership experience within the VCSE sector, ideally working with a Board of Trustees. Knowledge of Charity governance and a track record of influencing policy is highly desirable.
