The Norwich Bioscience Institutes Partnership (NBIP) has an exciting opportunity for a Training and Development Manager to join their busy HR department.

Background:

The Norwich Bioscience Institutes (NBI) are a cluster of internationally renowned research organisations, working to tackle major challenges of the 21st Century - the sustainability of our environment, our food supplies and healthy ageing.

The NBI Partnership provides high quality, non-scientific support services for the diverse community of staff, students and visiting workers at the Institutes (the Earlham Institute, John Innes Centre, The Sainsbury Laboratory and Quadram Institute Bioscience) and for the NBI Partnership.

The role:

NBI has strong and innovative training and development programmes for everyone from PhD students to post-doctoral scientists and experienced staff, spanning both scientific and support roles.

The Training and Development Manager will be responsible for developing, enhancing and assessing our training programmes, making a demonstrable impact on the delivery of excellent science.

The ideal candidate:

We are seeking a pro-active, enthusiastic and self-motivated individual. You should have training and development management experience, ideally within a similar academic or scientific setting.

Being delivery focussed and passionate about high quality learning and development interventions, you will enjoy working with the wider HR team on a range of developments to support the institutes and NBIP.

Additional information:

Salary on appointment will be within the range £43,550 to £52,000 per annum depending on qualifications and experience. This role is available on a full-time or part time basis.
