30 hours per week at £12 per hour. On site working in Burton Upon Trent.
Purpose: This role supports the implementation of HR practices, policies and procedures which are aimed at maintaining a safe, positive environment, as well as the recruitment and ongoing development of the workforce.
Duties:
Provide support to the Human Resources Manager with all administrative related tasks including compiling letters, documents and other information for the human resources activities
Take responsibility for the co-ordination of the on-boarding process including induction, references, right to work, DBS documentation and probationary periods with manager.
Provide support to managers and colleagues on day to day queries ensuring the Human Resources Manager is aware of any matters requiring action or escalation.
Liaise with occupational health provider as and when required
Assist with the planning and implementation of learning and development events
Support senior staff as note taker
Collect data regarding sickness information, annual leave and training
Hold responsibility for data entry and produce regular and ad-hoc reporting
Administer an annual data cleansing exercise.
Deal with telephone & email enquiries.
To undertake ad-hoc duties as required
Maintain an efficient filing system.
Requirments
Develop & keep good relationships with staff and service users and be able to clearly communicate with all levels of internal and external contacts.
Able to work with minimal supervision and make use of agreed supervision time. Be organised, proactive and work to deadlines
Demonstrate a full range of administration skills
Operate in a non-judgemental manner and knowledge of relevant legislation in all activities.
Have the ability to make decisions whilst understanding when to refer to specialist support within the organisation and communicate with team members
Have a good working knowledge of Microsoft packages
To hold a full UK Driving Licence
Be willing to undertake any necessary training identified
