HR Manager

Are you an experienced HR professional looking for a standalone role where you can make a real impact? Our client, a thriving company based in Burnley, is seeking a dedicated HR Manager to oversee the entire employee lifecycle and drive excellence in HR practices.

Role Overview:
As the HR Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of HR, from onboarding to offboarding, and handling the full employee lifecycle. This standalone role offers a unique opportunity to lead ER cases, implement HR strategies, and contribute to the company's growth and success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the recruitment and onboarding process, ensuring a smooth and positive experience for new hires.
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in line with legal requirements and best practices.
  • Manage employee relations, including handling disciplinary and grievance cases with professionalism and fairness.
  • Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related matters, including performance management and conflict resolution.
  • Conduct regular training sessions on HR policies, diversity, and inclusion initiatives.
  • Drive initiatives to enhance employee engagement, morale, and retention within the organisation.
  • Stay updated on relevant employment laws and regulations to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.


Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an HR Manager or similar role, preferably in a standalone capacity.
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport at all levels of the organisation.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and integrity.
  • Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a proactive approach to HR challenges.
  • CIPD qualification or equivalent experience is desirable.
