Our Vocational Skills Assessors form an essential part of the Commercial Industries and Access School and are expected to facilitate the effective and efficient practical and online assessment of learners as well as the development of their commercial, employability and enterprise skills.

For this role, the majority of the work will be assessing and monitoring learners at Level 3 on the T Level programme, however it could include some work on Level 1, 2 and Level 3 programmes in the section. You will support students to find suitable placements, undertake assessments in the workplace and in college, ensuring that a professional image is portrayed at all times. You will support students with a portfolio of evidence and liaise with Tutors to support students success.

We’d like you to hold a professional qualification with a reputed awarding body, a recognised TDLB Assessor Award (D32, D33) or a TDLB new A1 Award for Assessors. You will have established recent experience within the Finance and Accounting industry either through a professional development file (CPD) or recent finance and accounting experience. A Level 4 or above qualification is essential within Finance or Account specialism.

We’d also like you to be flexible to travel as the role will involve frequent attendance at student work placements.
