Accountancy Practice specialists Taylor Rose Recruitment have been instructed on an Accounts Assistant Manager opportunity on behalf of a progressive firm of Chartered Accountants in Buckinghamshire.

Perfect for an ACA/ ACCA Qualified Accounts Senior or Client Manager working in practice looking for the next step up in their career.

Our client pride themselves on their staff having an excellent work life balance with the option of WFH 3 days a week, paid overtime and flexible hours.

You will be allocated a diverse portfolio of clients from an array of sectors (with a focus on SMEs and OMBs), providing accounts services with regular client liaison and providing technical support to Partners.

Part of the role will also involve managing/ mentoring a team of junior staff and reviewing their work so you will ideally be technically proficient.

The Role:

Managing a client portfolio, acting as the main point of contact
Preparation and review of statutory accounts under FRS102
Preparation and review of management reporting packs
Mentoring junior staff and reviewing their work
Assisting with other ad hoc assignments
Business advisory work
Advising/ training clients on accountancy software
Providing technical support to Partners
Client meetings
Business development

You:

ACA/ ACCA Qualified
PQ/ MAAT also considered
Excellent working knowledge of FRS102
A strong background in accountancy practice
Good communication skills
