Summary
We're looking for a Welcome and Service Assistant to join our team at Ashridge. As the public face of Ashridge, you’ll provide a warm, friendly welcome, give information about this special place, answer questions and make sure everyone has an enjoyable and memorable visit.
Contract duration: Permanent
Hours working pattern: 30 hours per week, on average four 7.5 hour days per week. You'll be required to work every other weekend.
What it's like to work hereWorking with a team of Welcome and Service Assistants you'll be championing the best customer service, and will work closely with a group of dedicated volunteers to ensure we always have a friendly face to greet our visitors and help them to enjoy their visit.
Part of your role will be working from our visitor centre engaging with visitors, helping those who have booked our powered mobility vehicles and selling tickets to visitors who would like to visit the Bridgewater Monument.
What you'll be doingDay to day, you’ll deliver a great all-round customer service experience. You’ll be on hand answering queries and listen to what our visitors need so you can share the right information. Your role is to make sure our visitors have the best day they can. You’ll have the chance to be involved in different aspects of the visitor experience, from key property programming to fundraising promotion - no two days are the same.
You'll be enthusiastic about our cause and will grow support for our charity through membership recruitment and fundraising. You'll share the incredible conservation work the National Trust does and highlight the important role our members play in supporting our charity as well as the benefits of National Trust membership.
