£16.50 - £18.00 per hour

Part-time, Zero Hour Contract

Our client is looking for an experienced Handyperson / Carpenter / or flat-pack furniture expert to join our client’s team on an ad hoc basis. Basic plumbing and knowledge of electrics would be an advantage.

It is possible that this will become a regular fixed-hours position in the future.

The successful candidate must have a full clean driving licence and be a competent van driver.

The role will vary depending on how busy they are from a couple of times a week to every other week. Work will be planned in ahead of time but will vary based on the number of installations and workload of our client.

Our client has been established for over thirty-two years, offering a complete range of design and contracting solutions for commercial and educational premises. They are based in the Swindon area.

• Has experience with assembling furniture or joinery.

• Good communicator and can follow instructions.
• Reliable.

The Role

The role will vary on a job-to-job basis. It will largely involve building office furniture on site and helping with the fit out for their clients. It will also involve clearing the site post build and disposing of any waste.
