I am currently recruiting for a stand alone payroll position within a luxury retail brand based in West London. This role can be part time or full time but requires someone with extensive payroll experience, that has managed the entire process from start to finish. Key focus of the role:

Processing the monthly payroll for the global Group of 200+ employees in a timely & accurate manner, maintaining confidentiality
Liaising with our outsourced payroll providers in various jurisdictions and currencies to resolve payroll queries and ensure accurate processing of payroll changes
Liaising with their pension providers (UK & US) to resolve queries
Responsible for all post monthly payroll reporting and payroll journals.

Responsibilities will include:

Payroll & liaison with payroll bureau

Process the company's payroll; collection of change information, commission payments and overtime hours from Retail/HR departments and input into ADP
Preparation of manual adjustments to the payroll where required and input into ADP
Submission and review of payroll within ADP
Review and provision of information to local accountants and outsourced payroll providers for the US and France
Preparation and posting of payroll journals for all company jurisdictions
Perform month-end and year-end balance sheet reconciliations of payroll accounts
Prepare monthly payroll reporting for audit purposes, including headcount & full time employee analysis
Create pension analysis and upload pension information for two UK pension schemes & US 401k scheme.
Set up BACS payment of PAYE and NI for the company, taking into account childcare vouchers and attachment of earnings orders
Deal with ad hoc employee payroll queries
Complete ad hoc forms from external bodies relating to employee's earnings

Other responsibilities

Scope to get involved in other areas such as VAT in various jurisdictions, other reconciliations, and management accounting.

Candidate specification:

* At least 5 years' payroll experience, 2 at management level
* US and French payroll experience desirable
* ADP iHCM or equivalent system experience
* Understanding of basic accounting (p&l, balance sheet, debits and credits)
* A solid working knowledge of Microsoft Excel essential
* SAP experience desirable
* Excellent attention to detail and respect for confidentiality
* Able to confidently communicate with people at all levels
* Proactive and able to work on their own initiative and self review
* Strong organisational skills with ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
* Enthusiastic, self-motivated and hard working individual
* CIPP qualified or equivalent preferred
