Support Worker

Are you looking for a truly rewarding role within a supportive team? Then make the move to Southdown as a Support Worker.

This service is currently home to five older male clients. One of these clients’ needs a high level of support because of his severe learning disability and visual impairment. The other four have their own studio flats and are much more independent. All continue to develop skills and confidence in aspects of daily life such as work experience, education, and daily living skills through the support of the team here.

The aim of the service is to support the clients to participate fully in all aspects of their home and out in the community. We work closely as a team to achieve this and to maintain our excellent standards; therefore the ability to communicate clearly and to contribute ideas is important to the continued success of this service.

In exchange for joining us, we can offer some great benefits such as a Blue Light Card, Health Care Cash Back Scheme, local and national discounts, £100 reward for passing your probationary period and a supportive, professional working environment.
