School Relationships Support Assistant

The starting salary for this position is £25,230.38 per annum based on 36 hours per week across 41 weeks per year (term-time only) pro-rata to £27,897 full-time equivalent.

This role is based at Quadrant Court in Woking with hybrid working options available.

The School Relationships & Support Service operates within our Education and Lifelong Learning Directorate, contributing significantly to the council's commitment to a child-centred and coordinated approach for keeping children safe and supporting vulnerable learners.

About the role

In this dynamic position you will provide high-quality, timely responses to inquiries, delivering efficient administrative support that is both innovative and agile. Working alongside colleagues in the wider School Relationships & Support Service teams, including Surrey Education Services, Free School Meal Checking Service and Surrey Online School, you will play a key role in ensuring the continued delivery of high-quality traded services to schools and education settings.

As a part of the Area School Support Team, you'll thrive in a fast-paced, varied environment where each day presents unique challenges. Your role involves developing and securing strong relationships with colleagues and partners in schools and education settings in Surrey, ensuring that the services we deliver have a tangible impact on better outcomes for all children and young people.
