Joining us in Advisory and Regulatory team

We help and support clients achieve their strategic goals by guiding them through new legislation changes and helping to navigate accounting, regulatory, technology and operating model change. The world around us is changing and our teams help clients remain agile and adapt to these changes and stay ahead of the competition.

The Regulatory Advisory team, part of Financial Services group (FSG), advises firms of all sizes from right across the financial services industry, on all aspects of UK regulation and how the rules and guidance apply to them. Our list of prestigious clients includes the regulators themselves. Our clients tell us that they greatly appreciate the insights and value we provide.

As a contractor you will be expected to be able to 'hit the ground running' allowing Grant Thornton or a Client to continue 'Business as Usual'.

Skills we’re looking for  

• Experience working in the Insurance sector (commercial, retail or life) either in a similar consultancy or industry.
• Extensive compliance experience in advisory, assurance, and / or monitoring.
• Excellent regulatory understanding.
• Good exposure to MIFID, EMIR, regulatory reporting, internal model validation, risk frameworks, product oversight.
• Good understanding of governance.

Opportunity

As an Interim Compliance Specialist working for Grant Thornton’s Regulatory team you will be exposed to a variety of short- to medium-term projects with our Financial Services clients and beyond, and will have the continuous opportunity to work with us within our project-by-project based operating model.
