Scope
Houlihan Lokey is looking for Teaching Associates to assist with our training program. This is a part-time position from August 5th through the middle of August 2024. The length of employment is variable and can be adjusted based on your particular situation.
Responsibilities
Assist trainees with daily exercises (i.e., public and acquisition comparables, three-statement models, DCF, LBO, and merger consequences), specifically:
Handling chat room questions during virtual classroom discussions
Facilitating discussion during virtual breakout rooms
Conceptual reinforcement of valuation topics, calculations, and lecture materials
Sharing PowerPoint and Excel tips" with shortcuts
Evaluation of the daily exercises
No prior teaching experience required
All training will be done virtually and in person in London. There will be no travel requirements.
Role Requirements
Candidates must have at least two years of prior investment banking experience in a corporate finance or mergers and acquisitions group, or similar experience in corporate valuation.
Strong analytical skills, especially valuation and financial modeling expertise
Strong proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel, especially with constructing and reviewing financial models
Strong attention to detail
Team player; patient personality; comfortable and willing to help others
You must have your own laptop with access to reliable Wi-Fi
