The starting salary for this part-time, permanent role is £25,010 per annum based on a 28.80 hour working week.

About the team
This is an exciting and varied role that promotes best practice in whole-family assessment and support planning within our Adult Social Care Teams and provides support to the social care teams in Waverley and Guildford.
In this role you will work alongside your team-based Adult Social Care Practitioners as well as our area-based team of other Carer Practice Advisors which is overseen by our Senior Carers Practice & Development Lead. You will collaborate on new ways of working to deliver best practice and improve your team's Carers performance. This is all in line with the Care Act 2014 and our Carer's Strategy to really influence change and make sure no one is left behind.
About the role
You will work with internal and external partners to raise the profile of both adult and young carers. You will lead and develop carer's practice within the team and support carers in complex situations through finding creative and dynamic solutions.
A day in the life of the role may include:
Other typical tasks will include delivering preventative, early identification workshops at carer support group sessions in our local communities and education settings, reviewing your team's performance against defined carer and young carer performance measures and developing an action plan to deliver improvements and best practice.
