Front of house receptionist required for a friendly and busy financial planning company in Bideford. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who already has reception experience or is seeking a change in direction. Maybe you wish to work full-time or part-time hours to fit around your current schedule or perhaps you have recently retired or have taken a step back from another role. The role

The person who joins us will be responsible for reception, scheduling meetings, answering, and directing calls and emails and other tasks:

  • Greet and announce our clients and visitors.
  • Prepare complimentary beverages for clients.
  • Answer and direct incoming telephone calls.
  • Manage email inboxes.
  • Schedule and prepare for meetings.
  • Maintain a neat reception, waiting room conference rooms and other areas.and kitchen area
  • Request building and housekeeping services as required.
  • Stock control and stationery orders.
  • Process the incoming and outgoing post and
  • Manage the paper and electronic filing and archiving.
  • Support the office manager when required and other ad hoc duties.

Essential skills

  • We are ideally looking for experience gained as a receptionist although we will consider all backgrounds.
  • Able to provide exceptional levels of service.
  • Be enthusiastic and motivated.
  • Possess a keen eye for detail.
  • Able to go above and beyond.
  • Be happy working in a small and close knit, friendly team that focuses on client service and what is best for the client.
