Job Title: Part-Time Housekeeper

Job Type: Part-Time, Twice a Week

Overview: We are looking for a reliable and meticulous Housekeeper to assist with maintaining our home. This part-time role requires working two days per week, with flexibility for additional hours during occasional house-sitting periods. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with dog walking is a significant part of the daily responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• General Cleaning: Thorough cleaning of the house, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, kitchen and bathroom cleaning, and tidying up living areas.
• Window Cleaning: Regular cleaning of interior windows to keep them smudge and dust free.
• Outdoor Maintenance: Sweeping and brushing of external areas such as patios and walkways.
• Pet Care: Walking the dog at least once during each visit and ensuring water and food supplies are adequate.
• House Sitting: Occasionally staying at the house to oversee and maintain the property during the owner's absence, including taking care of the dog and other minor maintenance tasks.
• Ironing and Laundary: keep on top of all ironing and laundry.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in housekeeping or a similar role.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in providing a welcoming environment.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Friendly and positive attitude.
• Comfortable with pets, particularly dogs.
• Trustworthy and able to handle the privacy of the home with respect.

Additional Skills:

• Good time management skills to efficiently handle cleaning and pet care tasks.
• Physical stamina to handle the demands of cleaning and walking the dog.
• Flexibility to accommodate additional hours for house-sitting as needed.
