Business Services Co-ordinator

Summary

Are you an engaging individual who is known for their exceptional organisational skills, with a love for delivering first class support? We have just the role for you as a Business Services Co-ordinator.

This role is 30 hours per week, spread over four days. It includes very occasional weekend working. What it's like to work here You’ll be based at Newark Park, a beautiful historic house, garden and estate located on top of the Cotswold escarpment. Newark Park is situated in an unspoilt corner of Gloucestershire, with barely a sign of modern life visible in any direction. You’ll be at the centre of a friendly, close-knit, and passionate team of staff and volunteers who work across all departments to look after this special site and share it with the public. What you'll be doing

The business services coordinator is the glue that keeps the team together and facilitates the smooth running of the site. The National Trust is a busy organisation that has a lot always going on - you can guarantee that no two days are the same, so you’ll have to love variety. You’ll support day to day operations, such as managing the office, carrying out the banking procedures, and making sure we’re well stocked with supplies. You’ll provide excellent service to internal and external customers, whether organising group bookings or internal meetings. You’ll play an important role in keeping the site safe by carrying out compliance checks, keeping our emergency plan up to date, and in acting as one of the site duty managers. You’ll always champion best practice when it comes to business support, and will be confident challenging the norm when you think there’s a better way of doing something.
