Finance Manager (Part-Time)

RM Recruit Ltd are delighted to be working with an excellent third sector organisation based in Stratford-Upon-Avon who are seeking a confident Finance Manager to join their team on a part-time, permanent basis working 30 hours per week. Our client is able to offer a flexible, hybrid working arrangement with a competitive salary.

Reporting directly to the Head of Finance, you will lead on the day-to-day management and administration of the financial operations including payroll. You will be responsible for overseeing the company's financial operations, financial planning and analysis, and budget management.

Responsibilities:

  • Developing and managing financial plans, budgets, and forecasts
  • Processing sales and purchase invoices and orders
  • Processing the monthly payroll including pensions
  • Calculating accruals, prepayments and journals
  • Preparing monthly management accounts
  • Providing financial analysis and insights to support business decisions.
  • Provide financial analysis and insights to support decision-making.
  • Manage the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue and expense forecasts.
  • Overseeing the organisation’s financial reporting and ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Monitoring and controlling expenses and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
  • Developing and implementing financial policies and procedures
  • Collaborating with other departments to support business objectives.
  • Leading the finance team and providing mentorship and guidance to team members

Candidates with previous experience working in the third sector are of high interest to our client, however candidates from outside the sector will also be considered. The ideal candidate will be a confident communicator with a hands-on practical approach who is able to establish relationships at ease and prioritise workload. You will possess a positive, can-do attitude with strong leadership skills. You will be AAT qualified or qualified by experience with well-developed interpersonal skills and a flexible approach to work. SAGE 50 exposure is highly beneficial for this position, although not essential.
