Tax specialists Taylor Rose Recruitment have been instructed on a Private Client Tax Assistant Manager or Manager opportunity on behalf of our client, a leading firm of Chartered Accountants in their Exeter office.

Perfect for a recently CTA Qualified individual looking to progress their career with a firm which prides themselves on work/ life balance, career development, and the delivery of exceptional advisory services.

You will be allocated a diverse private client portfolio including HNWIs, OMBs, Trusts & Estates and Directors, involving a mix of compliance, tax planning and hoc advisory work.

The Role:

Managing a diverse portfolio of clients
Capital gains tax computations
Identifying tax planning opportunities
Preparation & review of tax compliance
Assisting the Partner(s) with consulting and advisory work
Mentoring junior staff and reviewing their work
Contributing to winning new work through business development & tenders
Leading client meetings
Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
Liaising with HMRC.
Dealing with client queries

You:

CTA Qualified (Ideally)
CTA Part Qualified or ATT Qualified also considered
Experience of managing a client portfolio (ideally)
Strong personal/ private client tax experience within a practice environment
Strong communication skills
