Description
Oversee and manage financial data and compliance by maintaining accurate books on accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and daily financial entries and reconciliations.
Perform daily accounting tasks such as monthly financial reporting, general ledger entries, and record payments and adjustments.
Collaborate with the finance team to complete assigned accounting tasks within deadlines.
Generate reports and statements for internal use.
Analyse transactions and prepare reports.
Maintain confidentiality of organisational information.
Deliver exceptional service to clients by answering queries and providing financial advice.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Accounting & Finance team.
Profile
A successful Part Time Bookkeeper should have:
Proven bookkeeping experience.
Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles.
Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records.
Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
