Job Title: Senior Accountant

Adele Carr Public Practice Recruitment is seeking a Senior Accountant to join an established small accountancy firm. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing statutory accounts, and providing general accountancy services to a portfolio of clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing a portfolio of clients, who you'll be building long-lasting relationships with
• Working alongside our Client Services Directors to identify opportunities for our clients
• Conducting accounts file reviews and tax planning
• Coaching & developing a team of Trainees and Semi-Senior Accountants

Requirements:

• ACA/ACCA/ATT qualified or equivalent, or qualified by experience
• Previous experience working in an accountancy firm
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards and tax laws
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience using Xero software
• Ability to manage workload and meet deadlines
• High attention to detail and accuracy
