Part-Time Financial Controller 30 hpw, Camberley, £60k pro rata with Hybrid

Cracking opportunity to join a growing tech business in Camberley on a part-time basis (30 hours a week). This varied job will suit a Qualified Accountant looking for a good mixture of accounting and business partnering in their new role. We need a motivated, hands-on Accountant to take ownership for all aspects of company accounting who can also work in partnership with the group finance team.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare timely monthly consolidation reports and financial statements.
• Perform variance analysis and provide financial reporting.
• Coordinate budgeting based on our P&L and sales projections.
• Maintain a full year forecast against budget, including working closely with Project Managers to monitor services revenues on a weekly basis.
• Maintain a rolling 12-month cash flow forecast.
• Prepare annual audit file and statutory accounts.
• Liaise with the group auditors.
• VAT returns.
• Prepare corporation tax calculations and ensure instalments are paid as required.
• General journal entries.
• Support the Accounts Administrator in their responsibilities (Bookkeeping, AP, AR, Credit Control, Payroll, HR admin etc).
• Support the sales team on customer proposals.
• Prepare statutory payroll and pension documents (P45, P60, P11D etc).
• Manage the vehicle salary sacrifice and cycle to work schemes.
• Ensure compliance with all government and tax authorities.
• Provide financial analysis and support to the COO and Group FC on an ad-hoc basis.

This role will suit a fully qualified Accountant (ACCA / CIMA / ACA / CA) with at least 5 years of relevant work experience in a similar all-round FC level role – and able to work on a part-time basis. In addition to the accounting ability, we need a strong communicator and team worker, able to multi-task, with good time management and organisational ability, IT skills to include Sage X3 ideally and Excel.

To be considered for this great part time Financial Controller role you must be able to commit to working 30 hours a week ideally split across 5 days, of which 2 will need to be in the office (hybrid).
