Overview of role As Financial Administrator, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of the business. Reporting into the Founder & Managing Director, and Finance Director, you will support the wider team with payment processing & reconciliation and ensuring cash flow is in line with company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Processing high volumes of invoices credit notes & daily/monthly.
  • Recording of daily transactions and bank reconciliations.
  • Reconciliation of entries into the accounting system & setting up suppliers (Xero).
  • Handling all accounts payable and receivable via Xero/ Pleo/ Revolut.
  • Maintaining and reporting aged payables and receivables.
  • Manage our Pleo & Revolut payment systems, including processing payments, onboarding & offboarding staff with expense cards and managing spend limits.
  • Manage multi-currency bank transfers, payments & reconciliation.
  • Work with US based bookkeeper/accountant to process intercompany transfers and loan payments.
  • Support Senior team with financial reporting and project spend reconciliation.
  • Management of company cashflow.
  • Manage Accounts mailbox & action internal & external enquiries.
  • Support wider team with ad-hoc queries and ensure financial control & security processes are adhered to at all times.
  • Utilising Microsoft Excel for financial analysis.

Who We Are Looking For:

  • An experienced Finance or Accounts Administrator with 5+ year’s experience, ideally with an understanding of a creative agency or working within a service-based business.
  • Able to travel to Central London and work from our Brick Lane office 2-3 x days per week on Mondays + Wednesdays (flexible).
  • Working across global markets, a good understanding of UK taxation & financial compliance.
  • Knowledge of US and European taxation would also be desirable.
  • Finance / Accounting degree and/or Accounting qualifications desired
  • Strong financial acumen and precision with budgets and numbers.
  • Strong computer skills; experience in accounting software (Xero essential) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, cost accounting and cost control principles.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Analytical ability to develop and implement improvements or recommendations.
  • Able to make sound decisions, working with caution to communicate delicate issues with tact.
  • High level of self-motivation, discretion, diligence, and attention to detail.

Perfect Cartel LTD £40,000 per annum, pro-rata London
