What you will be doing:

You will join the team that works well together to provide care for people with learning disabilities and/or associated health needs, autism and behaviours. Whether you have been a Healthcare Assistant or a Care Worker, you will utilise your experience to support people to lead a valued and fulfilled life.

It can be quite a challenging environment at times, so a positive attitude, compassion, resilience and vigilance are important. But it is hugely rewarding to see people improve; being able to do something today that they couldn’t do last week because of you.

Where you will be working:

Location: Dyke Road Avenue, Brighton, East Sussex, BN1 5LE

You will be working at Dane House, an immaculate, six bed service for people with learning disability and/or with complex needs and behaviours that challenge. It boasts?a range of communal amenities including sensory facilities and a large garden.

You will be caring for people who may have transitioned from residential schools or colleges, moved out of the family home or who need to move from a failed placement in the community.

Dane House is within easy distance of local shops, leisure facilities, churches and cafes, and is just 3 miles from the centre of Brighton. Brighton has excellent transportation links across Sussex and the south coast and London is just an hour away by train.

Night shifts are from 9:15pm to 7:15am, 20 hour contract.
