Receptionist

Part time Monday to Friday

Based at SMT GB Head office, as Receptionist you’ll be 'the face’ of our business and generally the first point of contact for our internal and external customers and visitors.

Providing a first-class customer service, you’ll ensure the smooth running of the front desk through a variety of activities. You’ll be managing the switchboard and the post, whilst undertaking various other administrative / PC based work including:

• Greeting visitors and issuing visitors passes
• Advising on meeting room availability and bookings.
• Responding to all enquiries received within the reception functional mailbox
• Processing and booking Car rental requests for the company
• Arrange cover for reception for holidays, sickness & training with our overflow support personnel.
• Ordering stationery ensuring budget is adhered to and an adequate supply is available
• Carrying out lock up process as the end of day
• Providing a handover between the morning and afternoon shift

Please note this is an afternoon part-time post that requires afternoon cover throughout the week.

Monday to Thursday 12.30 - 17.30

Fridays - 12.30 - 17.00

Experience/Skills

With previous customer facing experience you’ll have excellent customer service skills; pleasant, professional and helpful. You’ll be organised, able to prioritise tasks, be smart in appearance and ideally have knowledge of operating franking machines and switchboards. Also important are your attention to detail, your problem-solving skills and a proactive mind set.
