Are you an accounts and or taxation professional looking for a new part time opportunity? A growing, independent accountancy practice based in Maidenhead is looking for additional support in offering their varied client base a high level of service in relation to their accounting and taxation affairs.

The firm provides accounts and tax compliance and consultancy services for a client base of small to medium sized businesses and high net worth individuals. They provide bookkeeping and payroll services alongside bespoke accounts and tax advice.

The role is office based in Maidenhead with free parking on site. Circa 25 hours per week with flexibility around core hours. Actual salary £25,000 (£35,000 FTE).

Key Responsibilities

• General administration duties
• Bookkeeping duties
• Accounts preparation
• Payroll work
• Compiling tax returns and accompanying trading or rental accounts
• Preparing VAT returns
• Companies House compliance

Key Requirements

• Self-motivated and organised candidate who has relevant experience in practice
• Experience of working with 1 or more of the following accountancy software packages required: FreeAgent/Xero/Quickbooks/Sage
• Microsoft office experience required, especially excel and word
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to work independently while utilising the support provided by the wider team
