A supportive and nurturing SEN school in Soham, is seeking a passionate and qualified Maths Teacher to join their team on a part-time (3 days a week), permanent basis. This is a term-time only position (39 weeks per year), offering a great work-life balance.

About the Role:

As a Maths Teacher, you will play a vital role in fostering a love of learning and empowering students to reach their full mathematical potential. This fulfilling role involves:

  • Planning and delivering engaging and differentiated Maths lessons tailored to the individual needs of students with a range of learning profiles.
  • Implementing creative and multi-sensory teaching strategies that cater to diverse learning styles and make mathematical concepts accessible and enjoyable.
  • Building strong, trusting relationships with students, fostering their self-esteem and confidence in their mathematical abilities.
  • Collaborating effectively with our dedicated SEN team, including support staff, therapists, and parents/guardians, to provide a holistic approach to student well-being and academic progress.

About You:

  • Be a qualified teacher
  • Have a minimum of 2 years experience
  • Preferably have experience of working within specialised education
  • Willing to submit an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Check (DBS).
  • Complete Child Protection Training. Promote and safeguard the welfare of all children and young persons they are responsible for, or come into contact with.
