We're currently working on the behalf of a friendly company seeking a part-time Bookkeeper to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of duties including:
Sales ledger
Purchase ledger
Banking
Bank reconciliations
VAT returns
Assisting with month end procedures
Use of Xero software
There is also opportunity to get involved with some higher level accounting duties for those looking at progression. The company are ideally looking for someone to work circa 16-24 hours per week and can be flexible about how these are spread. It would be useful to have previous experience working on Xero software and strong previous bookkeeping experience.
