The Opportunity:  

We’re looking for a curious, proactive Management Reporting Accountant to join our team in Leeds. If you have experience in financial reporting within insurance, banking, or consultancy — and you're passionate about using data to tell the story behind the numbers — this could be your next move.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a high-performing team that works closely with a wide range of stakeholders across the business. You’ll be involved in financial performance reporting, process improvement, and the implementation of reporting tools that help drive smarter decisions across the organisation.

Your New Role:  

  • Support in the delivery of the monthly and quarterly Financial International management result to Group including deep dive analysis on key reporting areas, working closely across the business to understand the key drivers and emerging trends

  • Support in the production of the monthly/quarterly performance exhibits to key stakeholders across the Group

  • Perform ad hoc analytical reviews to inform reforecasts and business decisions

  • Collaborate across teams to improve reporting processes, drive efficiency gains, and reduce manual interventions

  • Utilise tools such as Power BI and Alteryx to enhance reporting efficiency and visualise insights clearly

  • Provide hands-on support for data validation and testing as part of implementing new reporting solutions

  • Act as a bridge between finance and business stakeholders to clarify data needs and ensure alignment with strategic goals

  • Champion a culture of continuous improvement by identifying, proposing, and embedding best practice

About you:    

  • Part-qualified accountant (or qualified by experience) with a background in FP&A or management reporting

  • Experienced in insurance, banking, or another regulated environment, with knowledge of the London Market a bonus

  • Experience using Power BI, Alteryx or similar tools in order to manipulate data to tell the financial story. Ideal candidates will also have experience using these tools to drive continuous improvement and create reporting efficiencies.  

  • Inquisitive and solutions-focused: you're someone who’s keen to learn, try new approaches, and challenge the status quo

  • Confident communicator who collaborates well across finance and business teams

  • Excellent Excel skills and a methodical approach to problem-solving

  • Brings a process improvement mindset and can spot opportunities for efficiency or automation?
