Key Responsibilities:
Develop and deliver high-quality teaching across a range of modules in building surveying and related disciplines.
Engage in scholarship and research activities, publishing findings in reputable journals and contributing to the advancement of knowledge in the field.
Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate students, providing guidance and support in their academic pursuits.
Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and enhance the learning experience through innovative teaching methods.
Actively participate in departmental and university-wide initiatives, contributing to the strategic direction and continual improvement of the program.
Network with industry professionals and external stakeholders to strengthen partnerships and enhance employability prospects for students.
Qualifications and Experience:
A relevant doctoral qualification in building surveying or a closely related field.
Proven teaching experience at the higher education level, with a strong understanding of diverse learning needs.
Significant professional experience in building surveying or the built environment, with a focus on relevant industry practices.
