Part Time Accounts and Administration Assistant Remote

Are you looking for an all round remote part time accounts and admin role (20 -25 hours a week)? Then we have just the opportunity for you. Candidates from East Anglia and the Midlands will be preferred.

Your role will encompass:

  • All aspects of purchase ledger including posting invoices, reconciling supplier statements, dealing with queries and assisting with payments
  • All aspects of sales ledger including invoicing, producing statements and a little credit control
  • Daily bank reconciliations on one account
  • Having the ability to look at balances on the ledgers and see whether they are correct or whether there is a problem and looking into that if there is
  • Posting journals
  • Compiling payroll data to send to the external accountants
  • You will be working with Sage 50 and Microsoft Dynamics and knowledge of these systems will be preferred 
  • Ideally, you will also have knowledge of debits and credits
  • Good Excel skills
  • Administration support with HR, recruitment and IT issues
You must be happy working remotely and be a self starter, able to work accurately and successfully without constant supervision.

Salary is based on 40 hours and so needs to be adjusted for 20 - 25 hours a week.
