We are looking for a compassionate, dedicated, and reliable Support Worker to join our team and make a real difference in the lives of vulnerable individuals. You’ll be supporting people with a range of needs, including learning disabilities, mental health challenges, or physical disabilities, empowering them to live independently and achieve their goals.
Pay rates:
Day Rate: £12.80 - £14.20
Evening Rate: £13.80 - £14.40
Weekend Rate: £13.80 - £14.40
Bank Holiday Rate: £19.50
Training Rate: £12.22
Travel Time: £12.22 + 38 Pence Per Mile
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide person-centred care and support tailored to individual needs
- Support service users with daily tasks such as personal care, meal preparation, shopping, and attending appointments
- Encourage independence and promote social inclusion
- Maintain accurate records and adhere to safeguarding protocols
- Work collaboratively with families, colleagues, and external professionals
- Participate in care planning and regular reviews
About You:
- Previous experience in a care or support role is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided
- A genuine desire to help others and improve their quality of life
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, resilience, and a positive attitude
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings
- A valid driver’s licence and a vehicle to be able to utilise for work
