Opportunity for an organised and flexible administrator to join a growing global business in Essex.

Purpose of the Post

To be responsible for all aspects of logistics and sales administration.

First point of contact with key customers and ANZCO NZ for order management, shipping details and information requests.

To free up the Logistics Manager, Commercial Manager and General Manager to focus on more strategic, customer focussed and revenue generating work.

To be responsible for the "data management & accuracy" of sales and logistics information in customer and ANZCO software systems.

Covering the Logistics Manager during times of holiday and travel.

To be an active member of the small team.

Duties and TasksLogistics Administration

  • To check the accuracy of vital importation documentation and correct any mistakes with ANZCO NZ.
  • Requesting PINs and booking/sending to hauliers.
  • Sending loadout reports and weekly shipment reports to customers, and being the point of contact for ad hoc customer enquiries.
  • Updating the logistics log with ETAs and confirmed despatch details.
  • Backup and cover for the Logistics Manager.

Sales Administration

  • Manage orders between ANZCO NZ/Itoham Japan and customers for weekly and monthly programs.
  • Input of sales onto ANZCO systems and confirmation to customers.
  • Customer specific sales administration tasks.
  • Point of contact and controller for important ANZCO documents and processes like specs, certifications, trace requests and industry data reports.
  • Management of various customer purchasing and supply chain systems.
  • Creation and distribution of available stock sheet to sales team.
  • Coordination of new customers onboarding and form submission.

General Administration

  • Gatekeeper of the office landline.
  • Packing and couriering of product samples.
  • Management of holiday calendar, office supplies and expense filing.

Sales

  • Potential to takeover some smaller customer accounts should the candidate be interested.

General and Other Duties

  • Undertake any reasonable duties / reports as dictated by General Manager/Logistics Manager/Commercial Manager that are within your skills and capabilities.

Person Specification

The ideal candidate should be self-motivated, enthusiastic, have strong organisational and administrative skills. The ability to accurately execute repetitive and detail orientated tasks is a key skill. They should also be able to work independently and willing to fit into a small multi-function team and help out wherever needed.

Experience (Essential or Desirable)

Knowledge of the industry and current ways of working Desirable

Experience in logistics or sales administration Essential

Experience in sales Desirable

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook Essential

Ability to prioritise work and work to strict deadlines Essential

Hours : 24 hours per week (3 days per week). Can be flexible on hours and days worked.

Anzco Food UK £30,000 - £35,000 per annum, pro-rata Brentwood
