The role includes 12-hour day shifts and sleeping night shifts as part of a 7-day rota, ensuring consistent one-to-one care.

About the Role:

You’ll be supporting a lady with a spinal cord injury and Autonomic Dysreflexia with:

• Personal care and transfers (using a banana board)

• Monitoring blood pressure and using a cough assist when required

• Attending physiotherapy appointments

• Accompanying her on outings and visits to family

• Light household tasks and providing emotional support

Shifts & Pay:

• Day Shifts: 12 hours (rotational)

• Sleeping Nights: 7 nights a week available- Block pay

Who We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience in personal care and mobility assistance (training available)

• Kind, patient, and dependable

• Comfortable working 12-hour shifts and sleep-in duties

• A driver is preferred (client’s mobility vehicle available), but non-drivers will be considered

Requirements:

• Minimum 6 months’ experience in a care or support role within the past 3 years

• Passion for providing person-centred, compassionate care

• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to pay £55 for a new check

• Completion of a 1-day practical training session and online eLearning prior to starting

Job Types:

Full-time | Part-time | Zero-hours contract

Pay:

• Day Shifts: £12.60 - £13.00 per hour

• Sleeping Nights: £75 per night (10 PM - 9 AM)

Expected Hours: 12 - 40 per week

Schedule Includes:

• Day shifts

• Sleeping nights

• Weekend availability

• Overtime
