Providing Quality Care
Bluebird Care started as a small family business in 2004, and today we are proud to be one of the largest providers of home care services across the UK. But what makes us different?
We’re committed to keeping people in the comfort of their own home, so we help with anything from everyday tasks around our customers’ homes through to complex care needs. We appreciate that every customer is different, and this is why every day will be different.
We pride ourselves on selecting the very best Staff. We received a Diamond award from our annual Bluebird Care audit with a score of 99.4%. Then we received our PAMMS audit from St Helens Council and scored EXCELLENT in all areas. .
Key Roles and Responsibilities as a Shift Supervisor
• Prior to each service commencing, carry out with customers (and/or their chosen representatives) an assessment of what the customer needs and what they would like to achieve from their care and support, together with a risk assessment
• Create and agree a written individually tailored plan of care and support that respects the customer’s wishes and promotes their dignity and privacy. Agree appropriate risk control measures to reduce identified risks. Keep care and support plans up to date
• Provide the customer and, where appropriate their representatives, with information about the service so they are clear about what to expect and how they can raise any concerns
• Keep all information about customers and their families secure and confidential except where policy require you to share to protect the interests of our customers
• Carry out regular reviews with customers in line with the Bluebird Care Model.
Your Experience and Suitability for the Care Assistant Role
It’s isn’t about previous experience. We want to ensure our customer receives the very best care and to do that we need people who are naturally compassionate, caring and patient. We want a team who genuinely cares for each of our customers as if it was their own family.
But don’t panic, we’ll ensure you have all the right training and development because we care for our Care Assistants. After all, they care for our customers so it’s important that you feel equipped for the role.
Essential for the Role:
Because We Care About You
We understand that every member of our team has their own family to care for and this is why our role offers the flexibility to work around your own home life.
You can choose between full-time or part-time work. Supervisors work 10hr shifts, either 7am to 5.30pm or 12noon to 10.30pm. Although we try to be flexible where we can, we do require you to be flexible with us too.
We can’t care for our customers if we don’t take care of our team so to make this possible, we offer:
We offer
But not only that, we take care of our team throughout the year, whether it's your birthday, Christmas, awards or simply because it’s a Thursday. We’re a family and we’re here to look after you today, tomorrow and every other day after that.
