Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Community Carer to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need of care. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the comfort, safety, and well-being of our clients while promoting their independence. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care, as well as the ability to manage various tasks effectively within a their own environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and meal preparation.
• Administer medication as prescribed and monitor clients for any side effects or changes in condition.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, fostering a positive and encouraging atmosphere.
• Perform first aid when necessary and respond appropriately to emergencies.
• Maintain accurate records of client progress and communicate any changes in behaviour or health to relevant healthcare professionals.
• Drive clients to appointments or social outings as needed, ensuring their safety during transportation.
