CMA Recruitment is delighted to be exclusively partnering with our client to recruit a part-time Bookkeeper to manage the day-to-day financial operations. Ideally working three days per week, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in maintaining the finance function and supporting the smooth running of daily business activities. Reporting directly to the business owner. What will the bookkeeper role involve?
Managing purchase ledger, processing invoices and completing payment runs;
Sales ledger, raising invoices for customers;
Reconciliation of multiple bank accounts;
Processing payroll for a small number of employees;
Producing financial reporting;
VAT returns;
Production of management and year end accounts.
Suitable Candidate for the bookkeeper vacancy:
Hands on bookkeeping experience;
Someone who has undertaken professional finance qualifications or qualified by experience.
Preferable if one of the working days in the office is a Tuesday.
Sage 50 software knowledge is highly desirable, however not essential.
Able to work in a stand alone finance position.
Additional benefits and information for the role of Finance Assistant:
3 days a week role, flexible on hours.
1 day a week working from home
Salary up to £18 per hour.
