Receptionist - Audio Typist

A small, friendly accountancy practice in London N13 is seeking a Part-Time Receptionist/Audio Typist to join our team. This is a varied and rewarding role, ideal for a proactive, well-organised individual with strong secretarial and administrative skills, and a flexible attitude.

About the Role

You will provide essential secretarial and administrative support to four partners, assisting in the smooth day-to-day running of the practice. The role will primarily involve secretarial/audio typing work (approximately 20 hours per week), with the remainder dedicated to general office support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Audio typing and copy typing of letters, reports, and emails

  • Providing professional and accurate secretarial support

  • Answering telephones and greeting visitors

  • Filing, managing post, and performing other administrative tasks

  • Creating and maintaining spreadsheets and reports

  • Supporting partners and the team with general office duties as required

Essential Skills & Experience
  • Previous secretarial experience

  • Accurate and efficient audio typing skills

  • Fluent in spoken and written English

  • Excellent telephone manner and organisational abilities

  • Intermediate MS Word skills and working knowledge of Excel

  • Willingness to assist with a variety of office tasks
