My client is seeking a highly organised and efficient finance/Office Administrator to join their team. This role involves a wide range of administrative and financial responsibilities, ensuring smooth operations within the office. The ideal candidate will be adept at managing multiple tasks with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.
Day-to-day of the role:
Manage accounts administration, including sales and purchasing ledgers using SAGE 200.
Handle sales order processing, invoicing, and dispatch, ensuring all customer interactions are handled within 24 hours.
Perform general reception and office management tasks, such as managing telephone lines, emails, post management, and maintaining holiday records.
Collaborate with the financial team on various tasks including bank reconciliations, supplier payments, and financial reporting.
Administer contracts for utilities, travel bookings, and secretarial assistance.
Ensure compliance with company policies, health & safety rules, and quality assurance systems.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Proficient in SAGE 200 for financial management tasks such as ledger management, bank reconciliations, and invoicing.
Experience in office management and administration.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Excellent communication skills and professional demeanour.
Knowledge of financial reporting, payroll management, and VAT returns is highly desirable, but not essential.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
