Finance Coordinator - PT (24 hours per week) Nottingham 
24 hours per week (ideally over 4 days, Mon–Fri, flexible)
£24,500 – £29,300 per annum (pro-rata), depending on experience

What You’ll Be Doing

As our clients Finance Coordinator, you’ll be the go-to person for managing day-to-day financial operations and ensuring data accuracy for regulatory compliance. Your responsibilities will include:

Finance & Accounting (using Xero):

• Track and record budgets and spend
• Handle accounts receivable/payable and reconcile bank accounts
• Credit control and follow up on overdue payments
• Process invoices and weekly BACS payments
• Support finance processes specific to our client's business 

Annual Financial Support:

• Assist with year-end reports and audits
• Prepare data for statutory returns and funding reports
• Liaise with accountants and auditors

Data Management & Reporting:

• Submit accurate data returns using spreadsheets
• Audit and improve data quality in collaboration with the Quality Assurance Manager
• Stay updated on reporting systems
• Generate reports to support planning and performance reviews

Essential Skills & Experience:

• Proven background in finance, accounting, or bookkeeping, working independently 
• Experience with Xero or similar accounting software
• AAT or equivalent accounting qualifications
• Strong Excel and IT skills
• Meticulous attention to detail and excellent data entry skills
• Ability to manage priorities, and meet deadlines
