Job overview

We are seeking an exceptional teacher of Psychology with a strong background in the subject at A level.

It is expected that the successful candidate would be able to teach all components of A-Level Psychology topics. They should have recent experience of teaching A-level Psychology, with a proven track record of success.

Essential characteristics:

  • A high-calibre graduate of Psychology;
  • QTS preferred;
  • excellent teaching ability and a strong record of exam results for Psychology at A-level;
  • able to communicate effectively to students their enthusiasm for the subject;
  • deliver inspiring lessons to students across the ability range; to stretch the most able and support the least;
  • the ability to teach A level Sociology would be an advantage;
  • commitment to the protection and safeguarding of young people;
  • an enthusiasm and interest in the College’s well-being programme.
