Payroll PART TIME

Reed Accountancy is delighted to be supporting our Rugby based client with recruitment of a PART TIME Payroller.

THREE DAYS PER WEEK Monday to Wednesday. OFFICE BASED.

We are seeking an experienced PART TIME Payroller to assist with wider payroll team with end-to-end payroll which includes two monthly payrolls circa 830 employees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Calculating and processing temporary and permanent payroll items
  • Calculating statutory Payment
  • Managing Attachment of Earnings Orders (AEOs).
  • Administering monthly pension processes
  • Managing auto-enrolment and RTI submissions.
  • Preparing PAYE and pension reports and arranging third-party payments.
  • Administering tax code changes, student loans, and RTI notices.
  • Processing biannual holiday pay on overtime.
  • Administering salary sacrifice schemes (e.g., pensions, cycle to work, car schemes).
  • Query resolution
  • Producing and verifying payroll reports (e.g., nominal accounts, payroll summary, BACS).
  • Completing period-end processes and payment requests.
  • Managing new starter and leaver administration.
  • Resolving control account discrepancies with the Accounts Department.
  • Handling tax year-end processes.
  • P11D processing

Additional Duties:

  • Supporting HR and Payroll projects as required.
  • Ensuring compliance with payroll and pension legislation.
  • Acting as the primary contact for i-Trent database administration.
  • Accurately inputting payroll data into i-Trent.
  • Promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young people.

This position would suit candidates with end-to-end payroll experience, ideally CIPP qualified or studier and/or IAB level 2 diploma in payroll.

Experience of iTrent system would be highly advantageous in addition to EXCEL.
