Part time HR Advisor- 30 hours per week

Office based role in Swindon- Free parking

We are seeking a part time HR Advisor to provide comprehensive HR support across our organisation. This role involves working closely with management to ensure a consistent and compliant approach to people management, developing HR policies, managing recruitment and onboarding processes, and supporting payroll activities.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Provide accurate HR guidance to management and staff, resolving issues proactively.
  • Stay updated with legal developments and ensure the organisation is compliant with HR policies and employment legislation.
  • Manage the full recruitment process, from creating job descriptions to conducting interviews.
  • Oversee the onboarding process, including issuing contracts and organising induction training.
  • Conduct workplace investigations and manage employee relations cases.
  • Support the performance appraisal process and coordinate training and development opportunities.
  • Maintain HR and Health and Safety noticeboards and manage employee data in compliance with GDPR.
  • Coordinate company events and manage recognition schemes.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in HR management.
  • Strong understanding of employment law and HR best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle HR issues with discretion and professionalism.
  • Experience with HRIS systems and data management.
  • Ability to support payroll processes, including managing holiday entitlements and sickness records.

Reed £14.50 - £15.00 per hour, inc benefits Swindon
