The Role

This is a vital role within the business, ensuring financial processes run smoothly on a daily basis. You will manage and process a high volume of incoming payments, maintain up-to-date records, and support the wider payments function. Your attention to detail, organisational skills, and ability to work independently will be key to your success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Daily monitoring of bank accounts to ensure timely processing of incoming payments.
• Processing payments on a daily basis with accuracy and efficiency.
• Raising invoices and following up on outstanding/overdue payments.
• Daily reconciliations of accounts to ensure accuracy of records.
• Managing a high volume of incoming payments and ensuring they are correctly allocated.
• Maintaining accurate records in line with best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Providing ad-hoc finance support to the wider team as needed.

What Is Expected

Proven experience as a Senior Bookkeeper or in a similar bookkeeping/accounting role.

• Strong experience with financial systems and a high level of proficiency in bookkeeping software.
• Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to prioritise work effectively.
• Strong attention to detail — accuracy is critical in this role.
• Comfortable working with daily volume tasks and maintaining consistency.
• Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment.
• Proactive approach to managing overdue payments and maintaining excellent client relationships.
