Account Manager

  • Salary: £30-35k pro rata
  • Around 20-25 hours per week
  • Fully Remote Working

We’re hiring on behalf of a tight-knit digital agency based in Milton Keynes that works with a select group of high-growth ecommerce brands. Their work is strategic, detail-led, and deeply trusted. Clients rely on them not just to build things, but to make things work long after launch.

They’ve built strong, long-term relationships with their clients. Now they’re looking for someone who can help protect that standard. Someone who thrives in a client-facing role, keeps projects humming, and can bring structure and calm without needing hand-holding.

This is for you if… You’ve worked in an agency. You know how to talk to clients - the lovely ones, the demanding ones, the ones who forget to send you the assets at 4:55 on a Friday. You’re used to keeping a lot of plates spinning. You understand how to translate a vague request into a clear task. You’re organised enough to know what’s happening with every project without even checking Asana. (Though you will check, obviously.)

If you’ve worked with ecommerce websites like Shopify, WooCommerce, Umbraco, Squarespace or BigCommerce, you’ll hit the ground running.

Responsibilities

  • Be the key point of contact for a handful of ongoing client accounts
  • Lead regular client update calls and follow up with actions
  • Keep communication flowing via Slack and email, chasing where needed
  • Track tasks and progress using Asana, logging new requests, assigning work, and flagging blockers
  • Work closely with freelance designers and developers to keep projects moving
  • Help with proposals, light research, and briefing notes where needed
  • Spot opportunities to improve how things are done and take initiative
  • Support delivery using smart tools and AI where it makes sense
Required Experience
  • 2+ years in a digital agency or similar client-facing environment
  • Experience managing tasks or projects (Asana is a plus)
  • Clear, confident communication both spoken and written
  • A calm, proactive approach when things get busy
  • Comfort working remotely and managing your own time
  • A solid grasp of what it takes to run ecommerce websites
Bonus points if you’ve worked with platforms like Shopify, WooCommerce, BigCommerce, Squarespace or anything similar. You don’t need to code, but you should feel comfortable talking about websites, integrations and user journeys.

Benefits
  • Part-time (20 to 24 hours per week) with flexibility built in
  • Fully remote, UK based
  • Work directly with the founder so your voice will be heard
  • Space to shape your role and influence how the agency operates
  • Low ego, high trust, and focused on doing great work
If you’re someone who loves supporting clients, keeping things moving, and bringing order to the day-to-day, we’d love to hear from you.
