Robert Half are working in partnership with a rapidly growing, forward-thinking company in Wallingford to recruit a Management Accountant role on a full-time permanent basis. The Management Accountant role is challenging and progressive opportunity that will be responsible for producing the monthly management accounts for a number of business entities, as well as business partnering with key stakeholders and contribute towards key business decisions. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone that is studying towards CIMA/ACCA/ACA, has proven management accounting experience and is looking for the next step up in their career, whilst being a part of a company that is renowned for offering career progression and an excellent work culture. The role has potential to progress into a Finance Manager in the near future. The salary is between £45,000 - £50,000 plus study support, hybrid working and other excellent benefits.

The Role

The main duties of the Management Accountant role will consist of:

• Producing the monthly management accounts for a number of entities.
• Variance analysis; investigate variances, provide analysis of the differences and deal with anomalies.
• Revenue and cost analysis.
• Budgeting and forecasting.
• Balance sheet reconciliations.
• Accruals and prepayments.
• Maintaining fixed assets and depreciation.
• Business partnering with various stakeholders; translating financial data into business meaning.

Requirements

To be considered for the Management Accountant role, you must ideally possess the following skills/experience:

• Must have management accounting experience; strong understanding of balance sheet, accruals, prepayments, etc.
• Ideally CIMA/ACCA/ACA part or newly qualified.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Inquisitive.
• Adaptable.
• Good team player.
• Confident user of Excel.
