Administrator Part-time (flexible hours)

Jones & Jacob Ltd Fine Art Auctioneers and Valuers based in Watlington, South Oxfordshire have a part time vacancy for an administrator to assist with creating the auction catalogue each month. Fast, accurate typing and good attention to detail is essential.

Working within a small friendly team, an ability to be adaptable with excellent customer service would be valued.

Job Description

  • Create the monthly auction catalogue using specialist auction software (training provided)
  • Answer the telephone and deal with enquiries from clients
  • Receiving and responding to enquiries on saleday and after the auction
  • Taking payment in person from clients for items pruchased at auction
  • Perform any other tasks to ensure the smooth running of the saleroom

Required Skills

  • Good organisational skills with strong attention to detail
  • Fast, accurate typing
  • Proof reading
  • Ability to work independantly and as part of a team
  • Excellent customer service

Job Type: Part-time, flexible hours (Office Based with opportunity to WFH)

Pay: £13.00 per hour (PAYE)
