In their Night Porter role, you’ll be responsible for listening, motivating, guiding and advocating for their customers - you’ll be helping to provide opportunities for a more independent and better life. Their Night Porter role will enable you to support adults through helping them to gain a sense of identity & confidence.
Location: Sleaford HRS - 81 Eastgate, Sleaford
Salary: Up to £22,932 per year (based on a 100% FTE of £24,242.20)
Contract: Permanent / Part-Time
Your week: 35 hours p/week
Snapshot of your role
This is what your day will look like as our Night Porter:
Build and maintain relationships with individuals and external agencies to encourage general wellbeing and social interaction.
Offer assistance to thier customers and other colleagues, including telephone support, monitoring of CCTV via remote view.
Ensure that individuals are supported in understanding and managing their tenancy, maximising their income, paying their rent and utilities, reporting repairs, and using available facilities. Supporting customers to maintain their accommodation partially with respect to keeping their property clean and tidy and not causing any anti-social behaviors.
Carry out and record hourly security checks of the building.
Ensure the security surveillance equipment is working efficiently and report any faults.
Maintaining customers rent accounts, ensuring customers receive their rent arrears letter within time frame and all rent reports are submitted to the service manager weekly.

To demonstrate a positive 'can do’ attitude while adopting a people-focused, friendly, and approachable manner with a strong sense of commitment.
Have good administration skills with an eye for detail and ability to write clear and concise diary logs/incident reports.
Knowledge and understanding of Health & Safety legislation in the workplace.
Experience and understanding of professional boundaries when working with a vulnerable customer group.
