• Emotional and Behavioural Support: Implement behavioural management techniques that are nurturing yet effective, ensuring a safe and conducive learning environment for all students.
• Continuous Assessment and Feedback: Regularly evaluate the progress of students through detailed assessments and adjust teaching methods accordingly. Provide constructive feedback to students and their families.
• Community Building: Actively contribute to creating a vibrant school culture where all students feel valued and able to express themselves.

• Relevant Experience: Proven track record as an SEN Teacher or in a similar role dealing with special educational needs. Experience in a special school environment is highly advantageous.
• Educational Credentials: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialisation in Special Educational Needs. Additional certifications in child psychology or special education are a plus.
• DBS Clearance: Must have a current DBS on the update service or be willing to undergo the process.
• Adaptability and Creativity: Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of students with varying disabilities and learning barriers.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of liaising effectively with colleagues, students, and parents.
