Salary: FTE £26,169 (£19,190.60 per annum, actual)
Contract: Permanent
Work Patter: 27.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8.30am - 2.30pm with a 30 minute break
Location: London Wetland Centre, Barnes SW13

About The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Receptionist to join our busy administration team at WWT London Wetland Centre.

As our Receptionist in the main office, you will be responsible for providing a warm welcome to staff and volunteers as well as business visitors, contractors and deliveries. Reception is a hub for the wider centre so you will be there to provide assistance to the team as required.

You will be responding to visitor enquiries by phone and email, ensuring that issues are dealt with as necessary and ongoing trends are reported. Communications with the public will be your opportunity to promote WWT London events and activities, membership and venue hire as necessary.

You will be supporting the Office Supervisor and wider team with administrative duties to maintain seamless day to day operations of the Centre.

About You

To join us as a Receptionist you will bring:

• Previous experience in an administrative role.
• A professional telephone manner and approach, and experience exercising professional discretion.
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to follow procedures.
• The ability to communicate across all departments.
• Attention to detail and ability to streamline processes to ensure the most effective use of your time.
